What is Z-Launcher?

Z-Launcher is a free, independent DayZ launcher for Windows from WPmates in Germany. It brings server browsing and Steam Workshop mod management together in one desktop app. Search DayZ servers by name, map or IP, filter by region, country or modded status, and check player counts, queues and your ping. When you join a server, the launcher checks its required Workshop mods and installs missing or updates outdated files through Steam before starting DayZ. Download progress is visible and can be cancelled. Find where your Steam friends are playing, keep favourite and recently played servers, and switch between player profiles. The mod library shows disk usage and which servers need each mod. The app supports English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian and Dutch. You need a Windows PC, Steam and your own Steam copy of DayZ. Z-Launcher is free to download and use, and players do not need a Z-Launcher account.
