Why we built it

Finding good software is harder than it should be. Search results are cluttered with SEO spam, review sites are pay-to-play, and the genuinely great open-source project or indie app often gets buried. We started LibraryOfApps to fix that: a place where quality rises to the top through a mix of human curation and community signal, not advertising budgets.

How it works

Every listing is reviewed before it goes live. The community upvotes the tools they love, and we organize everything into clear categories — AI tools, browser extensions, developer tools, productivity software, and open-source projects — so you can explore by what you actually need.
