What is Quartz Studio?
Quartz Studio is a local Windows application that helps users create clear visual documentation from screenshots, annotations, and OCR text.
It is designed for documenting procedures, incidents, support workflows, QA tests, internal training, and technical manuals. Users can take screenshots manually or trigger captures by click after consent, then organize each step in a structured editor.
Quartz Studio lets users add comments, reorder steps, annotate screenshots, blur sensitive information, and extract text using Windows OCR. Documents can be exported as HTML, PDF, or DOCX with branding elements such as a logo, copyright notice, watermark, and confidentiality notes.
The application runs locally on Windows. Screenshots, OCR text, and generated documents remain on the user’s machine, inside the selected workspace. Quartz Studio does not upload screenshots, OCR text, or documents to a cloud service, and it does not capture keyboard input.
