What is CopyCat?
Every time you copy text, some websites silently register clipboard event listeners to read what you copied — without asking. Medium does it. News sites do it. You'd never know. CopyCat is a Chrome extension that catches them in the act. It shows you exactly which sites are monitoring your clipboard, blocks them from reading it, and optionally watermarks your copied text so you can detect if it ends up in an AI.
